11:30 AM · The blossoms
High Park

From the station, walk south into the park. The cherry trees are clustered around Hillside Gardens, just past the children's playground on the east side.

Honest call: bloom is at Stage 5 right now. First blossoms open Monday, peak hits Apr 28 through early May. Tomorrow you'll see deep pink buds starting to open — beautiful, but not yet the full pink-canopy moment. Real peak is mid-week. — Yuki, just so you know

Plus side of going early: way fewer crowds, gentler light, cooler temps. By next weekend it'll be wall-to-wall people and parking will be feral.

Walk loop
Sakura → Grenadier Pond → south exit at Bloor & Parkside. Total ~1.5 km, gentle on hips.
Heads up
No cars allowed in the park on weekends. Toilets are at the front entrance and near the playground.
